Dark lions

side note: scar is considered heathly on this picture, so if you have a good eye, you may spot all the differences in the design he has with the older scar seen in the movie. Also, I thought first of sending this picture without the story bits... cause peoples could wonder too much about LOTS of details in this... but I then thought that if I change this later, you may just not see it. So, please enjoy.

Walking along, Scar wondered where his father was going, even if he knew instinctively that it was probably farther than any patrol he had done since they already crossed a paths they both weren't allowed to without an invitation. The Korogo's prideland... No open land to cross for sure. Why was he still following him? Why did he just had to?
Of course, both lion's nature to be silent and both having a dark pelt that blended well in this dusty decor helped, but soon they could be smelled and tracked by any guard passing by.  

Ahadi, suddenly stopped, finally deigned to look at his son with a stern look, and his words weren't there to warm the cold situation.
-I hope you understand, that I'll take no comments from you...
and it was all that was said before the darker lion started to walk again.

Scar stopped, looking back, then hesitated to follow for this time his father truly did make him feel anxious, thought it didn't showed a single bit in his face lazy of expressions.
He said nothing, but decided to follow, but keep a greater distance between the both of them, muttering retorts that were still heard.
-I hope you understand the gravity of your actions. 

No answers came from his father, for sure what ever he would say would be ignored: when Ahadi says to lay no comments, it means he'll ignore everything, but that didn't stop Scar's grumblings, to the point where even the ex-king had to stop his track and grumble as well.
-You plan to reveal our presences?  
-If it forces you back home... surely.
-Stop acting like a cub. I make my own decisions and it's best that way.
-For... ~ you? 
-...

Ahadi's expression softened, head lowered a moment as he was thinking everything through again, distressed and trying to shake the flashing memories in an attempt to recompose himself. Far from him the desire to scare or hurt his son. He sighed, calmed down.
-Well... certainly not for you...
-But for Mufasa?  
-Probably.
-... I shouldn't have asked.

Ahadi smiled very slightly, on a calm tone, he tried to 'reason' his son again.
-You shouldn't follow, please go home, this isn't open lands in here.
-I am aware of this. You shouldn't go there neither, another path would clearly be best.

A joyless chuckle escaped Ahadi's mouth, then he gave his son a side glare.
-Hmm... what you'd suggest? Enlighten me.

Scar pinched his lips, expressing both annoyance toward a question which the answer was just so obvious to him and it's with the same annoyed tone that he answered.
-Returning home, promptly.
-... (on the same calm tone) You should return home.

It was just going to be an never ending circle, wasn't it? Scar's pace fastened, catching on his father, he blocked his track, standing just a bit lower. He was confident his father wouldn't raise a paw on him. Wasn't he? Ahadi only fled his eyes, turning away while curling his lips, showing out for a second his frustration toward the situation. The ex-King stopped, took a few step back, then after days the male finally decided to stop and sit. But his stern expression only turned to an much aggressive one, for while turning his eyes spotted something in the distance that now smelled like troubles.
